I'm a mum of two; one of my sons is at school and the other stays at home with me full time, he's only just turned two.
I refer to myself as a WAHM (work at home mum) but I'm finding that most of the 'work' is in being a mum and the time left for my business work is pretty much limited to the evenings.
Of course I love being a mum but juggling the responsibilities that being a mum brings and trying to push my business forward quickly at the same time is difficult to say the least.
Anyone who has some words of wisdom on how to add some productive hours working on my business during the day at the same time as being a 'great' mum would be welcomed.
Hi Michelle,
I was given a great tip that helped me a lot with time management. Have your 'week at a glance' diary and use different coloured highlighters to block out kid's afterschool stuff, some exercise sessions, and your work times when you will be focussed on that. Then, when you have friends who say, let'[s get together for a coffee - you can open diary and they will see you have that time set aside for work, but you keep say, Thurs morning free for friends, or errands etc.
