Professional journalist, published exclusively in both local and mass mainstream media publications; my work has been featured within The United States, Canada, and internationally abroad since January 1, 2008 –- my chosen path of interest is subjective to social media with a rich foundation of new-age twenty-first century technology. Diagnosed with chronic pain, from an illness that carries the label of terminal in 2004, I am a survivor; not that of a victim and until my last fighting breath will I become that of medical journal statistic. Knowing true flexibility, a quitter I am not; gaining diagnoses just two months after graduating with a degree in nursing with minor in human psychology, field work proved too difficult and I could not physically engage in, I selected a career path of writing — instead of giving up, my ears listened to close friends who encouraged me. With a remarkable thirst for knowledge and education, it was my true friends who revealed that it was writing that was my natural gift. Able to work-from-home, I started as everyone, at the very bottom of the ladder; to rise rung by rung to the top by creating a name for myself within the community –- a name, that I will continue building, that is allowing me a bright opportunist fortune. No longer, just a journalist; in August 2009 I signed an all-inclusive contract with a privately held social media research corporation allowing myself a vast arrange of prospects directly within a beloved field. A child of the information age and platinum card holder of the multitasking generation, with grace I have accepted the chances that I have received; leaving the door open for more, it’s not the sky that carries limits but a endless universe – as the only title I will wear is the sparkling tiara of “professional female”.
