- The R.Tucker Thompson is a tall ship that operates as a not-for-profit charitable trust with a mission of "Learning for Life through the Sea". We run a range of commercial trading activities that allow people to experience sailing on a tall ship, the profits from which assist to fund our youth sail training programme to take away kids on 7-day life changing experiences.
