I've always enjoyed the Theme Parks, and now with Daniel turning 5 this year - i'm planning a family holiday as there is so much for Dan to enjoy.  Turtle Beach Resort is fantastic for families - perhaps for slightly older children than Dan, it has it's own cinema and brilliant pool complex.  I'm looking at staying at the Paradise Resort - more for younger children and they have a fantastic kids club.  Funny how priorities change when you have kids...all i'm after is a casual holiday with no stress and Dan can explore without me having to worry that he's going to get himself into danger.

Last time i was on the Gold Coast it was just me and my man, we took ourselves off to the Palazzo Versace for dinner - it was beautiful - the decor was true Versace over the top fabulous, and the food was wonderfully delicious.  I was delighted to find that we were made to feel very welcome, i'd definitly like to spend a night or two there - but think the decor might give me a headache with all that gold!
